Giffard Gomme Syrup

Natural Syrup
Giifard Gomme illustration

Gomme syrup was a staple in the pre-Prohibition era bar where harsh, high proof spirits needed the gentle caress of gum arabic to make them palatable. Gum arabic is a natural thickening agent that comes from acacia trees and gives this natural sugar syrup a silky texture and rich mouth-feel. Orange blossom extracts add a floral note to this gomme syrup.
